What the indictments of Alexander Smirnov reveals about the Weaponization of Government committee

The other day Eric Garland and I conducted a discussion about what was really going on with the indictment of Alexander Smirnov, the alleged Russian agent who served as an FBI informant and was the basis of the denigration attack on President Biden’s family.

Let’s review, class.

You know we know that this indictment of Alexander Smirnov is about a lot more than it appears, right?

You know that this indictment is a Kholomoisky op to feed fake information into the FBI, right?

You know that this is a similar attack on the FBI as the one experienced by my handler Special Agent Johnathan Buma who was probing Rudy Giuliani’s ties to Kholomoisky and yet found himself targeted by Israeli military intelligence.

You remember Igor Kholomoisky, don’t you? We’ve written about him quite a bit in the past and we’re happy to report that Kholomoisky was arrested in Septemebr of 2023. Zelenesky wanted ammunition; we wanted a crackdown on the oligarchs. We made the trade.

Here we are talking about Kholomoisky — a Cypriot-Ukrainian-Israeli citizen even though Ukraine bars dual citizenship — in March of 2022.

Here’s me quoting Casey Michael, an expert on anti-money laundering then:

As investigators and authorities now know, one of the most notorious oligarchs out of the former Soviet space oversaw a trans-national money laundering scheme of historic proportions – and used places like Cleveland, in addition to a number of other small towns across the American Midwest, to hide and launder hundreds of millions of dollars.

With no one paying attention, this oligarch, a Ukrainian national named Ihor Kolomoisky, steered one of the biggest Ponzi schemes in world history, and ended up becoming one of the biggest real estate landlords in mid-west America.

Kolomoisky may not be a household name, even with the recent uptick in interest in oligarchs and kleptocracy. But just because he’s perhaps less known than oligarchs like Roman Abramovich doesn’t make Kolomoisky any less important – or, for those in Ukraine, any less dangerous.

Born in Soviet Ukraine in 1963, Kolomoisky scrambled to make a living during the Soviet collapse of the early 1990s. Emerging in newly independent Ukraine, Kolomoisky followed a range of other oligarchs around the region, pocketing formerly state-owned enterprises like steel plants to gas wells at fire-sale prices.

Kolomoisky had two advantages over other nascent oligarchs, though. First, he had a background in metallurgy – in the science of making and moulding metals and alloys in demand. Secondly, Kolomoisky displayed a ruthlessness that made even other oligarchs, no strangers to violent crime, blanch.

Engaging in reiderstvo, or outright raiding, Kolomoisky seized asset after asset across Ukraine, reportedly paying off local judges and magistrates in the process.

One instance, as Forbes reported, saw 'hundreds of hired rowdies armed with baseball bats, iron bars, gas and rubber bullet pistols and chainsaws forcibly [take] over' a steel plant that Kolomoisky eyed.

Elsewhere, Kolomoisky once lined the lobby of a Russian oil company he wanted to push out with a series of coffins. For the full Bond villain effect, he even maintained a shark tank in his office, which he would fill with bloody chum whenever he wanted to intimidate a visitor.

I wrote then in March 2022:

Kholomoisky has been sanctioned by the US Department of Justice but curiously we are told to believe that the two men are no longer in touch. “New billionaire sugar daddy who dis,” apparently. Who needs Kholomoisky when you got the U.S. Treasury, amirite? What could go wrong in one of Europe’s most corrupt countries?

Then again, why not both the mobster backing and that of the international community?

We should have known then that the fates of Israel and Ukraine were linked. Why else would Kholomoisky obtain an Israeli passport anyway?

There have been a lot of those operations in recent years and it says a lot that groups like the Antidefamation League, itself increasingly a front for the Israeli Defense Forces, that have worked tirelessly to target FBI informants like yours truly who have been vindicated by subsequent events.

And you know Kholomoisky is close to Netanyahu, too, right? And that a lot of the Jewish members of Ukrainian organized crime are keeping their Israeli passports oh so close. And that in Ukraine they’re already talking about a one term for Zelensky. That is, if they even have elections again.

Did you know that Kholomoisky laundered billions he stole from Privat Bank throughout Cleveland, Ohio in places like Jim Jordan’s district or Jim Comer’s districts?

Israeli interesting isn’t it?

In the legal wrangling over whether or not Alexander Smyrnov aka Alexander Smirnov ought to be released prosecutors noted that Smyrnov, while an American citizen, had an Israeli passport.

But surely Smirnov won’t escape through Cyprus like Gal Luft, the colonel in the IDF who also got American citizenship, did.

Democratic Israeli assets in congress like Jared Moskowitz and Daniel Goldman are trying to pretend that Smirnov and Luft are Russian and Chinese assets respectively.

One of Joe Biden’s worst policies was allowing visa free travel with Israel which has a long history of acting as a front for organized crime. They hadn’t earned that privilege.

Now voters might decide that if President Joe Biden wasn’t strong enough to protect his own son from the Israeli hacking efforts or the children in Gaza if he will be tough enough to protect Americans.

In the early days of Biden’s presidency, we had multiple opportunities to clean this up once and for all.

We could have asked why it was that Lev Parnas was wearing a flak jacket while meeting with Kholomoisky.

We could have asked who was paying Rudy Giuliani while he served as President Trump’s lawyer.

We could have rewarded patriotic-minded, American-born informants over Russian-, Ukrainian- and Israeli- ones.

We could have had a real conversation about the ways in which public opinion was manipulated by organized crime.

We might have thought twice about the wisdom of giving Smirnov’s cousin Linor Shefer citizenship and how that citizenship has been used to cause America great suffering.

Let me just quote from the Times of Israel.

“Linor Shefer, an Israeli-American reality television star who was born in Ukraine, won Moscow’s first “Miss Jewish Star” beauty pageant.”

“Shefer...moved with her family to Karmiel in Israel’s north...from the city of Berdychiv in north Ukraine. She moved to L.A. in 2006 to work in show biz, using her US citizenship. She also lived in NY and worked in real estate before moving back to Israel....served in the Israeli Air Force.”

Say, didn’t Israeli spy (and Hunter Biden obsessive) Yaakov Appelbaum also work in the Israeli Air Force and Israeli military intelligence? I wrote about Yaakov at the time. So did Arthur Bloom, in great detail.

Come on, people. Eyes on the prize.

Speaking of prizes, it’s worth asking why there was such a concerted effort to penetrate both the FBI and the Weaponization of Government subcommittee.

Might it have been all that Kholomoisky cash laundered seemingly everywhere in the Middle East?

Or could it be that Elon Musk ally and source to Jim Jordan — the very pro-Likud Mike Benz — is as much a prostitute as his Hungarian ex-wife Zsuzsana (Suzy) Antal?

That Benz will do and say anything for sweet Home Depot money? Or is it Tim Dunn’s evangelical Christian Fascism cash?

It’s hard to keep up! Fortunately the Israeli press Haaretz is on it. You can’t call the Jews anti-Semitic though many try!

I don’t know if I told you but Elon Musk’s mama and baby mama are connected to the Ukrainian mob — you know the same Ukrainian mob, tied in with the Russians and the IDF, that’s feeding fake stuff to the FBI and getting Special Agent Johnathan Buma in trouble.
