A Family Affair: How Kevin McCarthy Is Ruining America By Ripping Off the Navy While Navy Fathers President Joe Biden and Rep. Tom Emmer Can Restore It
And how Kevin McCarthy's family stole from the Navy by lying about Native American status
Kevin McCarthy’s brother-in-law William Wages got millions in government contracts by lying about being a Native American. Here’s The Los Angeles Times in 2018.
A company owned by House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy’s in-laws won more than $7 million in no-bid and other federal contracts at U.S. military installations and other government properties in California based on a dubious claim of Native American identity by McCarthy’s brother-in-law, a Times investigation has found.
The prime contracts, awarded through a federal program designed to help disadvantaged minorities, were mostly for construction projects at the Naval Air Weapons Station China Lake in McCarthy’s Bakersfield-based district, and the Naval Air Station Lemoore in nearby Kings County.
McCarthy has repeatedly pushed for federal money going to China Lake and his family has benefited accordingly. The construction, though, was substandard. Was that substandard construction done by his brother-in-law’s firm?
Well, the base certainly didn’t hold up to an earthquake in July 2019, so more money — over a billion — was requested. McCarthy got $737 million for China Lake in the waning months of 2020.
Of course the larger question is whether or not it was wise to invest in China Lake in the first place. Most of the planes there are obsolete and getting increasingly so. We’re in a moment where air planes can be taken out of the sky through the use of satellites.
You should study these developments closely — LEO SAR, hypersonic, and the death of the Navy surface ship are at hand — but for McCarthy a naval base is just another opportunity to grift and enrich himself.
His district shows signs of disrepair and despair. Kevin McCarthy’s district has the highest murder rate in California. McCarthy’s Kern County is the “murder capital of California.” for five straight years.

We’ve already covered how the would be speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy installed a Chinese spy at the California GOP to pay off his wife, Judy Wages, after word of an affair with a fellow member of Congress made the press.
McCarthy’s son Connor has similarly benefited from the family’s connections.
Connor has worked for Joe Lonsdale, a venture capitalist backed by Chinese and Emirati cash. Lonsdale is also a big time McCarthy donor and he has started the Cicero Institute, a “think tank” which employs Connor McCarthy. McCarthy also worked as “chief of staff” for the Lonsdale-backed Esper and for Lonsdale’s venture fund, 8VC. (The African-American studies major was also a partner at Andreessen Horowitz.)
Lonsdale might sound familiar to you. He famously pushed this talking point when we withdrew from Afghanistan.
Lonsdale, when he isn’t sucking up to McCarthy, also works hard to ingratiate himself with Elon Musk. Indeed Lonsdale is trying to position himself as a Republican advisor on tech policy despite a track record which includes the notable failures of the Hyperloop and Ubiome. (It’s important to understand that the Emiratis don’t really want a hyperloop because that would reduce demand for fossil fuels and that the Chinese were trying to compromise our health sector through the fake Ubiome.)
Lonsdale texted Musk:
I love your “Twitter algorithm should be open source” tweet — I’m actually speaking to over 100 members of congress tomorrow at the GOP policy retreat and this is one of the ideas i’m pushing for reigning [sic] in crazy big tech. Now I can cite you so I’ll sound less crazy myself :). Our public squares need to not have arbitrary sketchy censorship.
Lonsdale also managed to name drop DeSantis to Musk.
According to a text message from Palantir co-founder Joe Lonsdale, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis — widely seen as a potential GOP nominee for the 2024 presidential race — threw his support behind Musk’s bid to buy Twitter.
Lonsdale wasn’t the only donor to employ the younger McCarthy. Connor works for the Kochs — promoting LSD, naturally — at Trust Ventures.
Say do you think Paul Pelosi attacker David DePape benefited from all the LSD he took?
Oh and did I mention that Kevin McCarthy’s district has the highest murder rate in California?
I don’t mean to pick on California. The numbers are staggering.
…In 2020, eight of the states with the top 10 highest homicide rates not only voted for Trump in 2020, but supported the Republican nominee in every presidential election of the 21st century, according to stats cited by the center-left think tank Third Way. The difference between red and blue states wasn’t especially close. According to those 2020 stats, the murder rate in states where Trump won was a whopping 40 percent higher than in states won by Democrat Joe Biden.
And though Republicans often claim that violent crime rates are worse in cities with Democratic-led governments, Third Way found that the 2020 stats show Republican-led Jacksonville, Fla., had 128 more murders than San Francisco, even though the California city’s population was somewhat smaller.
Say isn’t Ron DeSantis from there? What really happened to his sister? You know, the sister he never mentions? Oh yes we’re going to go there.

These are serious allegations against McCarthy and his connections to malefactors are true and they are disqualifying.
We do have other candidates for leadership who could really lead — Tom Emmer, for example.
While McCarthy’s son is cashing in, Emmer sent his sons to the Marine Corps and to Buds.
President Joe Biden sent his two sons into the military as well — though it didn’t work out so well. Beau Biden, according to Biden, suffered from brain cancer likely contracted from his time in Iraq. Hunter Biden started out in the Navy Reserves and then would end up as a likely FBI informant.

Perhaps we are wrong about even the need to serve in the military after all.
Among my many failings in this life is that I have never worn this country’s uniform.
Of course there are many ways to serve and perhaps the fetishization with the uniform precludes the other no less noble ways of duty and service. Each does what they can.
Kevin McCarthy’s service doesn’t rise to that level.
Still, I think about it often and do what I can to make my ancestors proud.
Yes, the fight is right here and it begins in the Speaker House.
Wait until Musk starts printing Doge Coin based on Twitter.
That’ll make the Fed and CCP Ponzi pale in comparison.
