We’re going to talk a bit about eugenics here, dear reader. Don’t worry, I haven’t gone all naughty on you but it’s important to talk about it and so talk about it we shall. You control people by being too euphemistic. We shall talk about “breeding programs” which I confess is phrase designed to shock you into seeing the phenomenon.

This is a topic which is so verboten that merely to mention the word is to elicit a kind of spasm in your interlocutor. “Isn’t that Hitlerish stuff?” Indeed it is, dear reader, but it’s also something that’s been practiced since antiquity. The Germans just take things to their ridiculous conclusion: the Lebensborn program.

But say if you can breed men for combat might you also breed men for servitude? What a question! Here’s another: Might there be groups who are smaller, more clever in nature who deliberately restrict other larger, but dumber groups and their ability to have kids?

Might they go so far as to assassinate the would be leadership of these countries? And if this happened in the not so remote past might it be happening now?

These are disturbing thoughts but that doesn’t necessarily mean they are wrong, does it? In the animal world we call it culling; in the political world maybe we call it “target assassination programs.”

When Israel detonated the exploding chargers it was ending a number of family lines. No, I don’t think we think enough about the eugenic implications of the IDF exploding pager castration attack on Hezbollah which ended their communication and their lineage.

If these thoughts disturb you I have some books you absolutely shouldn’t read. Whatever you do, don’t read how you might tame a fox (and build a dog) through selective breeding. That’s against the party, don’t you know?

Nor should your read the work of Richard Wrangham and his self-domestication hypothesis as chronicled in The Goodness Paradox: The Strange Relationship Between Virtue and Violence in Human Evolution.

Can other groups with superior information control who is — and who is not — allowed to breed in a weaker population? Might that be precisely what happens on the Chisraeli dating sites? You know Bumble, Tinder, Seeking Arrangement, etc.?

Many of us turn to these sites to find a matchmaker and find instead that old queen Barry Diller turning their quest for a mate into cruel casino which rips them off and forces them into a demographic cul de sac.

If you were a pro-Israel fanatic would you allow anti-Israeli fanatics to meet one another and have kids? Might you restrict their access to power? Let’s check in on Hollywood, shall we?

For what it’s worth I’m with Alfred Wallace on this subject — I don’t believe that the state can really determine who ought to breed and who ought not to. I think Wallace was right when he feared that the state could be captured by certain interests who would ultimately control breeding and lead to a sort of dysgenic inbreeding. He needn’t have looked far. Just look at what passes for an aristocracy in dour old England.

But it can’t dodge the question entirely, especially if it’s committed to being an ethnostate. (Empires, like America, have it a bit easier. We just take the best, which is, of course, our prerogative. To take the best is to be interested in aristocracy but we call it meritocracy just to throw everyone else off the scent.)

I think all responsible states have a duty to preserve as much of the biological world as possible. Monoculture is bad for nature. This is why you should Traitwell. Get it? 😉

You’re not supposed to wonder if, maybe, Traitwell’s consanguinity calculator — the so-called inbreeding app — is also an aristocracy detector and what that might mean.

We are, I think, obliged to preserve as much of nature as we can and to minimize the risks associated with invasive species, especially as climate change ravages on. Notice the leader of the free world — Emmanuel Macron — talk about “biodiversity.”

The fate of humanity rests on two big things — ridding the world of oil and preserving as much biodiversity as we can. It’s unclear if we can do that as yet but you might think all of my investments as part of this larger project. Will we succeed? I don't know but I do love a challenge.

The things which I know about what really happened on October 7th greatly disturb me. Has it occurred to you, dear friend, that the attack on the rave was greenlit by Netanyahu to stop a breeding program?

Of course this is a family substack but how exactly do you think you get children Charles if not by breeding? You get them by having sex — or so I’m told. You and I, dear reader, are the products of our parents just having a really good conversation and a bottle wine.

All kidding aside, we will leave out the rather incendiary (and no doubt intriguing) questions here of whether or not the attack was in fact done by Israel’s own IDF or its Hamas allies.

We’re told that in Be’eri, a kibbutz in southern Israel opposed to Netanyahu where more than hundred people were killed and thirty more taken captive, is rebuilding in the pages — where else? — of The New Yorker. Didn’t you know that the real Promised Land for the Jews is Brooklyn?

Here’s what I know — the relationship between Deseret and the NSA is over now. You can see the death of Mormon Lieutenant General Patrick Hughes, former director of the Defense Intelligence Agency, as a part of that chapter closing.

So, too, was the close alliance between Deseret and the Israeli Defense Forces, which shared intelligence and targeting of Americans and critics of Israel alike.

That Israel-Ukraine-Taiwan $95B aid package? Well, it was about having the NSA effectively take over many of the products that Israel’s Unit 8200 have let loose upon the planet.

The Israeli Defense Forces know they’ve been captured — why else do you think Netanyahu instructed his allies to reject the aid package? — and that there will be a reckoning once President Kamala is seated so they are running about liquidating their strange allies. We don’t terribly want to interrupt them. The French will do that for us.

What if the reason the State of Israel can even exist at all is because it transported the Hassidic breeding program from Eastern Europe to Palestine & Israel is built on top of that? Taboo thoughts: can you even have countries without breeding programs? What if they're synonyms? And what if, more precisely, the poisoning of the natural world with plastics by Deseret and the Huntsman family makes the viability of life itself nearly impossible? So gross are these cretins that they’ve normalized “surrogate” mothers in some sort of Handmaid’s Tale parody.

And how should we treat the hack of 23 & Me itself seemingly a pre-casualty of October 7th? (The hack was announced on October 6th.)

Consider this interesting development:

A threat actor who claimed responsibility for the compromise of the 23andMe site earlier this month has released a new dataset, including the records of more than 4 million people's genetic ancestry.

The cybercriminal, known by the handle Golem, alleges in a cybercrime Dark Web forum the stolen data includes information on, "the wealthiest people living in the US and Western Europe," according to reports.

23andMe spokesperson Andy Kill said in a statement the organization is still trying to confirm whether the most recently leaked data is genuine.

Of course mapping these relationships is extremely important to all states. It may be the ultimate move of every state to control all the breeding programs

Might the NSA be stealth nationalizing 23AndMe now? I’m sure Anne Wojcicki feels as if the whole world is against her now that her entire board has resigned.

Consider this:

A Jewish American friend who has lived in Israel and has studied this topic more closely tells me that I’m not far off the mark here.

When it comes to the Israeli breeding program there was a big push made to mix Ashkenazi and Sephardi/Mizrahi.

There has been quite a bit of propaganda directed at this effort, including many movies — mostly comedy — showing mixed families. In this context “mixed” means something like Ashkenazi father and Mizrahi mother. This breeding together of these two races into one is key to making a shared story and detaching the Jews from their past countries. There really is no way for the current generation of Iraqi or Moroccan Jews to “go back” because they are so mixed and no longer speak Arabic.

I want you to think about this sort of thing when you see advertising encouraging mixed families. During the height of American Chinese relations it wasn’t uncommon to see white male-Asian female pairings.

Here’s how it might have started back in 1973.

You know, China is a very poor country," Mao is quoted as saying during the exchange. "We don’t have much. What we have in excess is women. So if you want them we can give a few of those to you, some tens of thousands."

The Chinese leader drew laughter when he returned to the proposition a few minutes later. "Do you want our Chinese women? Countries that interbreed tend not to go to war and all the happas running around long made it a guarantee that China would never invade Taiwan. Besides, why invade when you already quietly run the place?

Is much of the hatred around the Collins because she’s White Russian by blood?

The reason the breeding programs which favor Republicans fear IVF is that they want to control reproduction through arranged marriages. If IVF becomes regulated — and the children become traceable through DNA — the cult’s agglomeration of power collapses. You’re not supposed to wonder about how many of these sperm donor issues are, in fact, surreptitious breeding programs victimizing infertile couples.

Picking a mate is hard work and if you take your Romeo and Juliet seriously you know that love marriages tend to result in early deaths — or divorces. Be wary of elders encouraging you to engage thusly.

When we consider Mormonism there are a lot of religions which are really breeding programs. There are lots of religions which are really trade associations — as Mark Twain writes about the Jews. But you knew that already.

What if there were rival breeding programs running and that billionaires were having children with concubines to cement political alliances over slave labor and minerals through IVF?

To what extent is Mormon Jared Birchall running Elon Musk?

Is Burning Man a breeding program? Or a simulated one where you signal your commitment to the obsessive task? Where you admit, in the final analysis, that you are a eunuch loyal only to a state or a cult?

After all, Larry Page and Eric Schmidt bonded over Burning Man.

And Page and Brin were regular and enthusiastic attendees. The company that set the bar for catered perks ran free shuttle buses to the event. For many years, the two-story atrium of Building 43, Google’s main headquarters, wasn’t decorated with industry accolades or stock-ticker flat screens. Instead, it showcased pictures of loincloth-wearing, fire-spinning Googlers and their eclectic Burning Man art projects.

In fact, the very first Google Doodle, posted in the late summer of 1998, was a crude stick figure of the Burning Man himself. Made from two commas set back to back, centered over the second yellow o in Google, that cryptic icon signified to those in the know that Page and Brin were turning out the lights in Palo Alto and lighting out for the Nevada badlands.

So, when the founders heard that Eric Schmidt, the 46-year-old veteran of Sun Microsystems and a Berkeley Ph.D. computer scientist, was the sole CEO finalist who had already been to the event, they rejiggered their rankings and gave the guy a callback. “Eric was . . . the only one who went to Burning Man,” Brin told Doc Searls, then a Berkman Center fellow at Harvard. “We thought [that] was an important criterion.”
