I recently watched Peter Thiel’s recent interview with Joe Rogan.
There was a lot there — UFOs, God, California politics, low birth rates, etc. — and a lot not discussed — Thiel’s relationship with Vance and Donald Trump.
But when Thiel discussed his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein what he didn’t say left a lot out. Thiel and I talked about Epstein a lot during the Trump Administration.
“If you’re working for Israel you don’t get protected,” Thiel said, noting that Jonathan Pollard went to jail for twenty-five years.
Uh huh. There’s quite a difference between an active agent and a traitor.
Thiel didn’t discuss how he and Epstein had done a deal with Ehud Barak, former Israeli prime minister and spymaster.
Nor did Thiel discuss how Jeffrey Epstein’s own calendar shows Thiel met with Epstein and Bill Burns, the future director of the CIA.
The logs show that in September 2014, Epstein's schedule listed Thiel under 'people to see'.
The two men met for dinner at Epstein's New York mansion on the 12th with Woody Allen present, the schedule says.
The following day Epstein met Thiel on his own from 2pm to 4pm after which Bill Burns, the current director of the CIA who was deputy secretary of state at the time, joined them for an hour.
The day after that, Epstein planned a lunch and said that 'maybe Peter Thiel' would come.
The two men were scheduled for lunch the following week and the entry lists Thiel's personal assistant and their number.
(My last in person conversation occurred with Thiel at his home right after Biden got into office. I told him that I knew Director Bill Burns. He was extremely uncomfortable from that meeting.)
All of which leads me to this: I have a frame for you. I want you to imagine that every time you see Jeffrey Epstein since his arrest and jailing that he was actually stinging the person he was talked to or pictured with or doing business with.
Peter Thiel was audited by the Obama Administration for not paying taxes he was extremely upset. He told me about it at length over dinner in the early days of the Trump administration.
After President Donald Trump won Thiel was very interested in who the new IRS commissioners were likely to be. He and I discussed it at the time. I suggested to him that were he concerned helpful to the U.S. government he likely would have nothing to worry about.
During the Biden Administration ProPublica reported that Thiel had effectively evaded taxes for decades, amassing a $5 billion tax-free Roth IRA.
Thiel mentioned how the Chinese state effectively runs a lot of Chinese companies. As happens in China, so too is America taking over a lot of the compromised Silicon Valley companies.
These include principally the cloud computing businesses.
Look closely and it’s hard to ignore that Larry Ellison was turned by U.S. intelligence. He’s quietly moved against Musk and closer to Thiel.
My read is that Thiel is trying to destroy Trump because he’s trying to preserve the Israeli relationship he has. After Rogan said he wasn’t backing Trump Thiel is signaling that he, too, is working to defeat Trump.
Thiel’s effort to shift the focus on to Bill Gates — who is himself having to turn Fed due to the compromised nature of Microsoft — is a typical Thiel tactic.
But let’s be clear: Thiel is with Netanyahu and the IDF; Epstein was with Mossad. Bill Burns was brokering the alliance. The Epstein-Thiel meeting in 2014 was a truce between Mossad and Likud.
I’m not so sure that works anymore in light of recent events in Israel—and in Germany. Indeed after the United States, Germany is the second largest arms dealer to Israel.
We’re supposed to believe that Palantir “foiled” a plot by extremist Germans to topple the Israeli government. Doesn’t it seem more likely that Palantir was tipped off by their Israeli friends?
The recent portrayal of Palantir CEO Alex Karp by the New York Times’s Maureen Dowd suggests that Karp himself may have to be the sacrifice for all of this to work.
Like Vance, Karp is too weird to be in control of something important.
“Alex Karp Has Money And Power. So What Does He Want?” says the headline.
He wants what all Gen-X wants — to be cool and to retire. He’ll get the latter, not the former.
