Was Matt Gaetz's "Stolen Valor" Opponent Working for Mossad? Is Bill Barr - a Federalist Society Member and Architect of the Gaetz Plot - a Chisraeli Asset?
Gaetz joins fellow anti-war GOP congressman Thomas Massie in beating back an attack from Chisraeli agents in the Department of Justice.
Congressman Matt Gaetz of Florida won his primary re-election with 70 percent of the vote — performing even better than he did in 2018.
That victory comes after he was falsely accused of some truly crazy things like sex trafficking, being an FBI informant, and not being endorsed by President Donald Trump. (Gaetz and Trump talk often and have a sort of political father-son relationship.)
Well, OK, then.
In the waning days of the campaign Gaetz’s opponent — Mark Lombardo — came under fire for lying about his past flying combat missions in Vietnam from military men in Northwest Florida.
There was also this curious detail — why was Lombardo meeting with Israeli Mossad? — as recounted by Rick Outzen, a local blogger. The emphasis is mine.
Lombardo returned my call on 16 Jul. Here are my notes from that call:
Lombardo returned my call this AM (16 Jul 2022).
– Stated that he (Lombardo) had just returned from a DC meeting with 3-star general(s), Israeli Mossad, and was very busy. (?? Strange and no indication what issues he was discussing, and I could not care less)
– I told Lombardo that I would like to meet with him at his convenience to discuss an issue with his campaign. Lombardo stated that he had lots of priorities and was very busy.
– I told Lombardo that I would cut to the chase and lay out the issue over the phone. I told Lombardo that there were questions about his claim of flying combat missions in Vietnam and stated that he needed to deal with that perception/reality and clear up the issue, particularly for the PYC Marines.
– Lombardo’s response to this was 1) that it was “petty” if anyone questioned his statement because it was “50 years ago”; 2) that he was spending $1 million of his own money on the campaign, and 3) that “this issue was not going to be a priority for him to deal with.”
– I emphasized that it was not petty with Marines, regardless of any amount of time, and that honesty and integrity were paramount. I reminded Lombardo that I was the messenger identifying a perception/reality that was out there and that he would be wise to deal with it.
– Lombardo reiterated that he had lots of priorities between now and 23 Aug and that this issue was not one of them, but that if his other priorities were taken care of after 23 Aug, he would look into this issue.
– I suggested that something as simple as his logbook should be sufficient to clear up the issue.
– Lombardo stated that “he did not have a logbook.” Lombardo stated that when he left the USMC, he got rid of everything except his wings. (Strange to be sure)
– End of conservation/call.
Can we now have a frank conversation about foreign interference in his election and indeed in his targeting by corrupt officers in the Department of Justice in the first place?
You needn’t take my word for it. Journalists Jordan Bloom, Phillip Nieto, and Marc Caputo as well as thought leader and cartoonist Scott Adams all corroborated Gaetz’s version of events.
And so, too, has the Department of Justice.
Early Tuesday a federal judge sentenced Stephen Alford to more than five years in prison for the extortion plot!
Here’s how The Washington Post described the weird plot:
The day after receiving the text message, Don Gaetz met with the sender and was provided with a letter outlining the plan, prosecutors said. If the Gaetzes helped fund efforts to locate and rescue Robert A. Levinson — the longest-held American hostage in Iran — President Biden would “strongly consider” pardoning Rep. Gaetz, if necessary, or otherwise direct the Justice Department to halt its investigation of the congressman, court records state.
The plan was deemed “Project Homecoming.”
That same day, Alford met with Don Gaetz to elaborate on the plan and name his price: $25 million, according to court documents.
And yet there’s a lot of evidence that Alford didn’t act alone in Project Homecoming. He had help both within and without the Department of Justice and the State Department.
One person — Jake Novak — worked for the Israeli consulate in New York but he’s been disavowed by the Israeli consulate during the Naftali Bennett.
How did this happen?
Allow me to suggest several reasons.
Matt Gaetz was one of three Republicans to vote against Trump’s Resolution on war with Iran. He was joined by Francis Rooney, of Florida, and Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky.
Rooney has since retired. He was open to impeaching Trump but called it quits in 2020.
But Massie, who is a Gaetz ally, soon found himself targeted by Lin Wood who spent heavily on a Super PAC to defeat Massie in the 2020 primary.
Wood was working as an attorney for Steve Wynn but later got into a lawsuit with the casino mogul.
Wynn was later forced to register as an agent of China by the Department of Justice — which is currently suing him. This state of play raises the question of whether Wood was a straw donor for a Chinese and Israeli influence operation when he targeted Massie.
Massie, like Gaetz, won overwhelmingly but called for an investigation into the efforts to interfere in a congressional election.
China and Israel were very close during the Trump presidency. Both of them wanted Iran to stay sanctioned so that China could buy Iranian oil and Netanyahu’s political backers could sell it to the Chinese illegally.
As with Bill Clinton’s impeachment in the 1990s, the Likudniks tried to control both sides of Trump’s impeachments. They both tried to prosecute Trump while at the same time represented him.
Rep. Matt Gaetz opposed the Federalist Society’s members on a whole host of issues, including his arguing with Israeli asset and no. 2 in the Justice Department, Rod Rosenstein. Rosenstein immediately went to go work for Israeli spyware firm — NSO Group. Gaetz has been a repeated critic of NSO Group. Rosenstein paid $5 million to NSO Group while he was at the Department of Justice.
Gaetz, who served as the chair of Governor Ron DeSantis’s transition, dared to suggest several judges to Governor Ron DeSantis — a longtime Federalist Society member — only to have DeSantis rebuff Gaetz. DeSantis listened to Leonard Leo about judges.
Of course Gaetz’s real troubles began when he started calling out companies that sought to integrate their technologies into America’s law enforcement, including DJI, the Chinese drone tech company whose equipment was being purchased by American law enforcement.
Gaetz, working with our Indian allies, also repeatedly called for Trump to ban Tik Tok — only to see Jared Kushner and others within the White House push for it to be sold to Oracle or Wal-Mart.
Gaetz’s instincts were correct about the Federalist Society — and about Federalist Society member and Attorney General Bill Barr, with whom he clashed repeatedly.
I was repeatedly told by friends at the New York Times that it was Attorney General Bill Barr who leaked to Katie Benner of the New York Times that Gaetz was under investigation for child sex trafficking right before Gaetz’s father was going to wear a wire and ensnare the extortion plotters. In so doing Barr harmed the investigation into the Israel-directed and Iran-related plot to extort Gaetz.
Barr’s history with Israel goes way back to the first Bush Administration where he repeatedly defended the constitutionality of the Iran Contra pardons. Barr, though not officially Opus Dei, was extremely close to the movement. (So, too, was FBI agent Richard Hansen, who was a Russian and Israeli spy.)
Why didn’t Barr let the DOJ do its important work before leaking to the New York Times? Could it be because he’s the architect of the targeting of Gaetz? Recall that an Attorney General is required to indict a member of Congress. Was Barr trying to force the Garland DOJ to target Gaetz? Why?
I suspect a lot of it has to do with the Gaetz’s family ties to the Bushes and to the U.S. intelligence community. Barr resents these relationships and wants to settle the score.
If my view, the Gaetz family should sue Bill Barr for malicious prosecution and for violating his oath in leaking to the New York Times.
The recent revelations that the same Leonard Leo and the Federalist Society accepted a Chisraeli billionaire Barre Seid “donation” to the sum of $1.6 billion ought to give us still more pause. In addition to taking over the federal judiciary, The Federalist Society has also taken over state judges and states’ Attorneys General. The Seid matter is a developing one but it is troubling. When someone donates 100% of something, it raises the question of whether or not the person was a pass through.
Let’s not forget that Seid repeatedly opposed Trump’s tariffs on Chinese goods. I don’t think this is an accident. As I wrote a while back, Seid was very close to the state of Israel and promoted his financial support for the Israeli state in his Chicago office.
Neither Matt Gaetz nor I dislike the State of Israel. In fact I spent a few days last month in Jaffa. My mother worked on Kibbutz Beit Guvrin, near Ber Sheva while my grandfather helped monitor the ceasefire between Israel and Egypt in the Sinai.
I won’t speak for the congressman but I do dislike the policies of Prime Minister Netanyahu which harm America’s relationships around the world.
We’re often told that Israel is our greatest ally.
The Matt Gaetz’s matter provides the occasion for them to prove it.
I want to reiterate what I have told my Israeli friends and their supporters.
Do not test us.
It’s a time for choosing sides. Choose well. Be better friends.
It’s time to choose how this relationship will progress. Will we be better friends, or will the ills of past administrations force the United States to change policy?
On having the US as an ally:
“Zia told (William) Casey that being an ally of the United States was like living on the banks of an enormous river. “The soil is wonderfully fertile,” he said, “but every four or eight years the river changes course, and you may find yourself alone in a desert.” (Steve Coll, "Ghost Wars")
There's some truth to this.
The American government seems, to me at least, a very difficult friend to have. Is there another super-power in history this bipolar? The Roman Empire?
