The intelligence community of every nation has long used pedophiles to achieve its objectives.
Just ask George Nader who seems to have been a sort of Middle Eastern go between.
If you were a hostile foreign intelligence operation working in the United States you’d want to find the pedophiles and then blackmail them into doing your bidding. You’d find that they tend to be quite smart and come from all walks of life. You don’t even have to pay them.
We might also ask about Denny Hastert, former Speaker of the House, who was blackmailed by Turkish and Israeli intelligence with the knowledge that he, too, was a pedophile.
Have a look at the Hastert details:
The hush-money deal would eventually lead to a federal criminal case against Hastert five years later and to public disgrace for the a GOP stalwart who, for eight years as House speaker, was second in the line of succession to the presidency. In the federal case, prosecutors said Hastert sexually abused at least four male students between the ages of 14 and 17 throughout his years at Yorkville High School. Hastert was in his 20s and 30s.
How often does this sort of thing occur?
Well, I’d imagine it happens way more often than we care to admit.
When I was a younger man just out of college I ran into one of these operations in the United States, specifically in Los Angeles, New York City, and Miami. Even today I do what I can to avoid these cities.
My groomer tried to ply me with money, alcohol, and even drugs — I’m not into that sort of thing — before attempting to rape me in a New York hotel room. I escaped — fortunately — and quickly lost the job that my would be rapist had set up for me.
I was sadly not the first — he even bragged about it in a call I recorded — nor do I think I’ll be the last. He’s out there today and running his scamming operation in plain view. The FBI pays him no mind at all. Indeed I suspect he may even be a source for them, having worked alongside billionaires, foreign leaders, charities, cults, and of course Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to whom he once introduced me (unaware that I had run into both working for Alan Dershowitz.)
One of the tactics he liked to use was to introduce someone to a beautiful woman he was covertly paying. Sometimes he’d make it seem like an accident — a chance encounter — or ply his mark with a lot of alcohol. The mark and the spy’s prostitute would go off and make the beast with two backs. Then he’s spring the news on them. “Hey, remember that girl you slept with? Yeah, she was 17 or 16,” he’d say, and then the blackmail would begin. Was she actually 16? Who knew? That wasn’t the point. The mark believed the woman or girl to be 16 and he was often recorded by the spy as he learned the news. There would be a demand for money. For a favor. For a ticket. For forever. This is the dark world and it is very real. But this is a war and there are quite a lot of soldiers who fight in it, who carry deep scars.
It’s in that moment where you get the call — that the blackmailer either has you or he doesn’t. Do your worst, you’d say if you were brave. But then again so few are.
Though I escaped my foreign-connected groomer I was not so lucky to avoid my family member who got me when I was way younger. Partly to get away, partly because I was pretty messed up I put a continent between myself and my family abuser. He’s since passed away and not a day goes by that I don't wish I had said something but boys don’t do that sort of thing.
Like a lot of successful victims of child abuse I became successful in large measure to exact justice at a time and place of my choosing — Clearview.AI and some of the other start ups I’ve incubated are my attempt. As a survivor of child abuse I take especial joy in having helped build the company which has brought pedophiles to justice. “Vengeance is mine,” sayeth the lord, but sometimes even He needs a little help from those He calls to be sheep dogs.
The trick, though, isn’t to go full vigilante. That won’t do. There are no super heroes but quiet acts of heroism. You have to build the sorts of technologies that a reasonable person would use — say a mom or a police officer — to detect the baddies and trust to your neighbors to solve the problem. They always do. By then I’m long gone onto the next project — the next frontier.
Given this history I confess to being somewhat emotional about the subject of pedophiles and how they intersect with the hidden world I know all too well. Something stirs in me to turn on the light — or at least walk with flash light — and illuminate what I can.
And yes, there is a pedophile lobby though not in the way you’d think. It takes a bit of work to build up these blackmail operations, quite a bit indeed, and the foreign intelligence officers who build these networks aren’t keen to have them upended so easily lest they, too, be detected. Unfortunately for them they may have no choice. We live in a great counterintelligence period and many operations are getting rolled up without delay.
They recruit both the victims of the pedophiles as well as the pedophiles themselves. After all, those kids who have psychological damage grow into adults and they, like stray dogs taken in, belong all too loyally and just as uncritically to their new masters.
I suspect this is happening now to the Epstein victims who ping between well-wishers and intelligence operatives. Sure does seem odd how “journalist” Xeni Jardin has lots of ties to Mossad, doesn’t it?
And no, I simply don’t believe Virginia Giuffre’s story, or rather, I don’t understand how she’d allow a law firm like Boies Schiller and David Boies — who came to the aid of Mossad-connected Harvey Weinstein — to represent her.
I further suspect, too, that many of the anti-pedophile operations are actually fronts for pedophilia itself. The lines between trafficking and consensual prostitution and the more modern forms of dating are exactly clear and can change in an instant or upon reflection or financial enticement. Some of these charities are no doubt legitimate. It’s hard to believe that Cindy McCain could become a US representative to the UN without some intel ties but still one wonders about Ashton Kutcher’s ties. I don’t quite buy that he’s a CIA asset. I think he’s very tied into Ukraine. Perhaps too closely tied in. One wonders about former Sequoia man Mike Goguen though wonder too much and he might sue you.
The pedophile lobby is waning, though, and you can see it in how the slur of pedophilia (and being pro-pedophile and pro-groomer) has started to be weaponized against political enemies. The foreign spies know that the days of the pedophile freely galivanting are drawing to a close. They freaked out when Tim Cook offered the rather innocuous thing of having Apple scan photos for child sexual abuse imagery. You can see that with limited hangout Eric Weinstein most of all. (A reader notes, by the way, that Oracle sponsored Eric Weinstein’s and Steve Bannon’s podcasts. Funny coincidence that.)
Ours is a revelatory age with science fiction author (and CIA speaker) David Brin’s Corollary to Moore’s Law. “The cameras will get smaller, cheaper, more numerous and more mobile every year,” Brin wrote more than a decade ago.
Oddly Brin hasn’t seemed to understand that these cameras make a lot more likely the blackmail of people. He’s explored political blackmail elsewhere and found this rather great quote from Vladimir Lenin:
"Political blackmail is the threat of exposing, or the actual exposure, of true, but more often invented, 'stories' with the aim of causing an opponent political damage, of slandering him, of depriving him of the possibility of engaging in political activity, or of making it difficult for him."
How can one read that and not think of Congressman Matt Gaetz? Hunter Biden?
But if cameras are going everywhere so too are all other manner of detection — including genetic sequencers.
Are there genes associated with pedophilia? We could test this question empirically if we cared to look at the science and not go crazy at anyone merely broaching the subject. After all, the genetic underpinnings of homosexuality aren’t really in dispute any longer though if you dare release anything like a gay app you’ll get in a lot of trouble awfully quickly.
As homosexuals don’t choose being gay anymore than I or you choose being straight, it stands to reason that pedophiles, too, don’t choose liking children sexually. Who would?
To ask this question, though, is to talk about the unmentionables.
If we wanted an answer we’d simply sequence all those convicted of pedophilia and then build the polygenetic scores. You’d correlate the prisoners with their expected crimes. You could then test the general population and help reduce triggers for people who were predisposed to pedophilia. Perhaps we could even have pedophile prisons lest they suffer jail house justice. One could imagine communities of pedophiles out of the general population.
There’s even a question about “pedoface” and I wonder if we might build machines to detect it but perhaps there’s too much candor in this post already. Gayface is certainly a thing, at least according to the science.
Which brings me in the end to Ron DeSantis.
I suspect Ron DeSantis was sexually molested himself — probably when he was a young baseball star — so for him this bill seems to be altogether personal. I’ve (unfortunately) been around quite a number of young boys who have been abused and he has all the tells — shifty eyes when you talk to him, no old friends, a close almost maternal wife, no boundaries with his major donors like Israeli intelligence officer turned business man Ike Perlmutter and his wife. Sure is quite revealing that Perlmutter, who owned Marvel under dubious circumstances before selling it to Disney, is utterly quiet.
DeSantis donor Ike Perlmutter is now under investigation for trying to gain access to Veterans Affairs data. What does DeSantis — himself a veteran — have to say about that? Nothing at all apparently.
When he asked Congressman Matt Gaetz to give me the ticket to the State of the Union so as to ingratiate himself with a donor DeSantis wanted — and then I was quickly targeted by the Netanyahu lobby — he begged Gaetz not to reveal how he had introduced us. Gaetz kept his word but then later DeSantis threw him under the bus. There’s a fine line between relentless and ruthless.
If DeSantis really wanted to be the leader of the Sunshine State he should bust open the blackmail operations running around Florida but he won’t. Or, he could crack down on all the real human trafficking throughout Florida but he won’t. He could ask for a full investigation into the blackmail operations against Andrew Gillum whose homosexual meth tryst seemed to be known by all kinds of operatives in Florida.
Instead DeSantis and the Florida Legislature has passed a perfectly innocuous law which activists have freaked out about.
However sympathetic I may be to those people going through something profoundly difficult I refuse to pay much attention to these sorts of issues. I just don’t have the time to get worked about something so uncommon. And I sincerely wonder about those people who do get so worked up the trans issue all the time. Many of them are paid instigators, often at think tanks, often funded by foreigners or foreign-connected billionaires. The activists pop out of nowhere, become e-celebrities, and then disappear once more. I should know. I was once one of them without really knowing it at the time.
Let me tell you a secret. You don’t have to read the Critical Race syllabus if you don’t want to. Only a damn fool allows his schooling to get in the way of his education. The very successful people among us lie all the time about what they’ve read. Being stupid and young, I used to ask them what they thought of various books they claimed to have read — only to inadvertently embarrass them. Don’t do that!
Maybe it still asks a lot of young kids to think critically, or what we used to call, “thinking.” My problem is the overall definition of what constitutes Critical Race Theories. I learned more than a bit about slavery and Tulsa at prep school. This sort of thing isn’t education; it’s indoctrination. And it’s against the spirit of what should be e pluribus unum. Other countries ban disharmonious conversation. Maybe we should too. If not by law, then certainly by social stigma.
What productive things could parents be doing if they weren't so angry? Maybe they could spend more time with their kids and keep them away from the alleged groomers casting about.
My view, for what it’s worth, is that you ought to homeschool your kids if you can but I suspect that’s beyond the reach of most people. They should ask themselves why that is. I continue to be impressed by the homeschoolers. They know there’s more to life than culture warring.
As for DeSantis? Call me when he wants to be anything other than a puppet. We are known for what we choose to stand up against — when it’s hard.
The reason so many in politics resent Disney is that so much of politics is just show business by another name (for ugly). The clowns don’t like competing circuses.
Another excellent piece. Thought provoking as always, and always with tantalizing new facts.
