Sympathy For The Donald? China-Backed, Israeli-Friendly Tech Oligarch Reid Hoffman's Op Against Trump
Probing the obvious op run against our once (and probably not future) president
Should I bother voting, I’ll be voting for President Donald J. Trump in the Republican primary—and for President Joe Biden in the general.
The reason is simple enough: Without Trump we wouldn’t be able to see the largely Israeli, Russian, and Chinese ops in the plain light of day. And without Biden, we couldn’t shut them down.
Now, what do I mean by “Ops?” There are many Ops, but let’s just look at media/narrative Ops. Lots of the attacks on Trump are actually by America’s enemies. “The Resistance,” for the most part, was a Russian, Chinese, and Likud construct.
“The Resistance” lifted up a lot of individuals by way of dirty money. Consider that the lawsuit by E. Jean Carroll was actually funded by tech oligarch Reid Hoffman who seemingly paid to do it.
Hoffman has a long-standing, very close relationship with the Chinese communist party. He himself has been bragging about this for more than a decade. The New York Times revealed as much in 2011 with Hoffman rattling off names.
On this particular day in July, a rising entrepreneur named Brian Chesky has come calling. Mr. Chesky, the co-founder of Airbnb, an online service that matches people looking for vacation rentals with those with rooms to rent, wants some pointers about expanding into China.
Mr. Hoffman, 44, leans back in his chair. Then he lets fly: Airbnb will need a team in China, a robust Chinese-language platform, Web filters to keep Beijing happy, he says. It might also need a joint venture partner. He rattles off a few names.
It’s noon, and this is the third of nine meetings that Mr. Hoffman has scheduled today. He is trying not to sneak a peek at his smartphone — or, rather, his four smartphones. He fields upward of 400 e-mails a day, not counting all the stuff that streams in via Facebook, Twitter and, naturally, LinkedIn, where he had 2,536 connections at last count.
Hoffman as Chinese asset gets easier when you consider that he’s the one who brought forth Airbnb, which acts a front for criminal activity.
The net effect was to restrict the available supply of housing, particularly for young people.
Access journalist Teddy Schleifer of Puck News quotes Dmitri Mehlhorn, philanthropic and political adviser to Hoffman.
Eh, not quite, Dmitri.
Think about this: We have a billionaire with close ties to the Chinese backing and Israeli will power financing lawsuits against the President of the United States while he is still president.
Indeed it looks far more likely that Hoffman was continuing the kind of Israeli control we’ve come to expect of our heterosexual presidents.
Former Clinton Peace process advisor Bruce Riedel recounts the history, involving Bill Clinton who seemingly knew that he was being sexually blackmailed.
The night the Monica Lewinsky story broke in the national media, President Bill Clinton was meeting with then-Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the Oval Office as a follow-up for the Wye River agreement negotiated in October 1998. I was with the president and went to brief the press spokesperson after the talks. He was alone in his office with the lights out, pondering the implications of the story. Early the next morning, Netanyahu called the president to offer his support, the president hung up on him.
Could a similar control mechanism be being deployed against Donald Trump? And against Bret Kavanaugh? Of course.
Is Reid Hoffman funding such operations because he’s a dupe? A true believer? Or because he’s compromised?
In Washington, the billionaire consiglieres have all the power—and none of the downside. Even still Dmitri Mehlhorn is a rather curious figure who seemingly copied a lot of the techniques of the Internet Research Agency in a controversial bid in a U.S. Senate race.
Mehlhorn (who is Jewish on his mother’s side and East German on his father’s) is a sort of advisor to several tech oligarchs, nearly all of whom are Jewish. (Hoffman, a gentile with a Chinese wife, is the odd man out here. You’re not supposed to ask too any details about what Mehlhorn’s paternal German grandparents were up to in World War II.)
We’re left wondering what’s going on here and it’s pretty strange. Mehlhorn was a part of a largely Jewish effort to target progressive Democrats, especially those skeptical of Israeli misbehavior and American support of it.
According to Mehlhorn, Mainstream Democrats’ origins lie in a meeting during the Ohio primary in which DMFI President Mark Mellman and media consultant Brian Goldsmith asked him if his donors would support DMFI. Mehlhorn responded that while they did not want to enter the Israel debate, his donors did want to combat the Democratic Party’s drift to the left, which they believe undermines efforts to defeat the Trump-era Republican Party. So Mellman and Goldsmith created Mainstream Democrats. Mehlhorn told me that Hoffman also supports Third Way, a centrist think tank whose website says virtually nothing about Israel but which contributed more than $500,000 to oppose Turner in 2021. Mainstream Democrats gave funders like Hoffman another instrument to oppose progressive candidates while furthering DMFI’s agenda of opposing Palestinian rights.
The operation continues to this day. Ryan Grim of the Intercept has the story about Mehlhorn working for pro-Israel lobbyists to intervene in our elections:
Two groups — Democratic Majority For Israel, or DMFI, and Mainstream Democrats PAC — began spending millions pummeling Turner on the airwaves. The two were effectively the same organization, operating out of the same office and employing the same consultants, though Mainstream Democrats claims a broader mission. Strategic and targeting decisions for both were made by pollster Mark Mellman, according to Dmitri Mehlhorn, a Democratic operative and Silicon Valley executive who serves as the political adviser to LinkedIn billionaire Reid Hoffman, who funds the Mainstream Democrats PAC. DMFI has also funneled at least $500,000 to Mainstream Democrats PAC.
“Our money is going to the Mainstream Democrat coalition, which we trust to identify the candidates who are most likely to convey to Americans broadly, an image of Democrats that is then electable,” Mehlhorn told me earlier this year, saying he relies on the consultants linked to DMFI to make those choices. “I trust them. I think Brian Goldsmith, Mark Mellman, they tend to know that stuff.”
Mark Mellman is a lobbyist for AIPAC and for various Israeli causes. It seems increasingly that Israel’s “other occupation” is affecting us too and threatening to upend our democratic system.
Why does Mehlhorn trust them to do what’s right for the United States? Could it be because Mehlhorn also works for the Israelis?
Hoffman erstwhile pal Peter Thiel fired the Israeli compromised person working for him. Will Hoffman be forced to get rid of Mehlhorn?
Fortunately the Appellate Court punted on the questions surrounding E. Jean Carroll.
Schleifer (who is also Jewish) may not want to go here but that doesn’t make it any less true.
Is Reid Hoffman, whom access journalist Kara Swisher calls “one of the good ones,” really one of the good ones?
Hoffman championed the bailout for Silicon Valley Bank telling that very Swisher but you know — if you read this site — that Silicon Valley Bank isn’t a bank but a front. If Biden has made any huge error in his presidency it was in bailing out the Chinese ops who “bank” (read: park cash) at SVB and who didn’t want to lose “their” deposits.
There’s every indication that Hoffman is controlled by the Chinese/Israelis going back to his palling around with Jeffrey Epstein. Could it have been that Epstein was working to turn the white collar criminal Hoffman? I wonder… Say doesn’t Hoffman work very closely with the Chinese — or Japanese tied in organized crime?
Here’s Schleifer again, this time in Vox.
The LinkedIn founder and political powerbroker has his own ties to Epstein through the Media Lab, where he sits on the advisory board. Hoffman helped raise money for the Media Lab, which involved fundraising solicitation meetings with the sex offender.
“By agreeing to participate in any fundraising activity where Epstein was present, I helped to repair his reputation and perpetuate injustice. For this, I am deeply regretful,” Hoffman said.
Sure, Reid. Does anyone really believe this nonsense?
It’s time for Hoffman, like the rest of the tech oligarchs, to be useful. Or he will be made useful.
If this is one op being run against Trump, might Stormy Daniels also qualify?
That op was run by none other than shakedown artist Michael Avenatti who is currently in federal prison for running a shakedown.
Now I personally can’t wait to see former (?) federal informant President Donald J. Trump explain the bribe he was forced to pay over Stormy Daniels and how that bribe was held over his head during his presidency. I think it’ll be amazing.
It’s important to understand that convicted felon Michael Cohen worked for Russian-Jewish mobsters and that Trump wasn’t so much paying off Stormy Daniels as he was financing Cohen’s criminal enterprise lest it harm him.
Indeed Trump was controlled by both the Russian and Israeli intelligence services through his sex life. Cohen, Avenatti are both mob lawyers trying to extort Trump. Why? To move dirty foreign money through a flawed vessel, in much the same way that the Chinese and Israelis move money in Silicon Valley.
Unfortunately I suspect we won’t really go there when it comes to discussing how Russian-aligned Max Blumenthal — whose father was Clinton advisor Sid Blumenthal of the horrible Libya invasion fame — was interviewing Stormy Daniels about an op she ran against Senator David Vitter. (Vitter, interestingly, became a lobbyist for a Russian bank and oligarch before the sanctions barred that.)
Yes, that’s the same Max Blumenthal who worked for Russia’s Sputnik and appears regularly on RT. Such ties might well explain the mystery of Stormy Daniels going against Trump and then touring strip clubs controlled by the Russian mafia without any fear.
Watch the interview from 2007 and ask yourself. Is this real? Or an op?
And then read Olivia Nuzzi’s column in the Chisreali New York Magazine to see how the op is continuing—with fortune telling cards.
