Nancy Pelosi, The Italian Mob, Crime, and the Chinese
The chaos of our country was done to us.
Alleged attempted murderer—and Canadian visa overstayer—David DePape’s name means “beloved of the Pope” but we are supposed to believe that that’s his real name.
It isn’t. That’s his stepfather’s surname.
His stepfather, Gene DePape, said David DePape grew up in Powell River, British Columbia, and left Canada about 20 years ago to pursue a relationship that brought him to California.
That relationship was with Gypsy Taub, a Russian-American nudity activist. DePape is a drug user and he wound up as a resident of Richmond, California — one of the most Chinese areas of the Bay Area. The lawlessness of every day life in San Francisco has long been a theme. The question is always who benefits from that state of unrest and why. Who benefits from DePape’s weaponized mental illness?
San Francisco is a Mob town. Always has been. But there’s some questions as to whether or not it’ll remain that way now. That San Francisco — supposedly the darling of the tech community — continues to ban the use of facial recognition and of crime databases to solve murders and rapes tells us what we need to know. These two technologies have been instrumental in what we might call counter-mob technology, technology which President Biden supports and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi does not.
It’s too soon to tell what really happened between DePape and Pelosi and given how often the police cover for the politicians I suspect we will never know.
The queen of San Francisco is, of course Nancy Pelosi. But Pelosi “isn’t really from San Francisco, she’s from Baltimore,” once said Jack Murtha, the disgraced congressman who mentored her. Murtha was speaking in code.
He knew that whenever you’re dealing with the Pelosis you’re dealing with the Mob.
You can read the 284 page FBI file of Nancy Pelosi’s father, Thomas D’Alesandro Jr. and learn about his mob connections while he served as a member of Congress and mayor of Baltimore. He was so corrupt that it was commonly written about and discussed in the local Baltimore press.
President John F. Kennedy ordered the FBI to investigate D’Alesandro but they brought no charges against him and Kennedy was soon assassinated. Were those two things related? The perfunctory investigation by the FBI did little to address the two decades of substantive allegations against D’Alesandro for mob activities. The FBI never followed up on the credible reports by local police officers about D’Alesandro providing protection to organized crime figures.
Given that Pelosi is a mob princess — D’Alesandro’s only daughter! — there’s of course the larger question of whether Nancy Pelosi belonged to the mob herself. It seems as if she did. Young Nancy Pelosi kept the favor book that her father had.
Her biographer Molly Ball discusses Pelosi’s role. Ball takes great pains to avoid the m-word so as to preserve her access but it still manages to spill out as this NPR interview shows.
Nancy D'Alesandro was in charge of being in that living room and maintaining that favor file, telling people - answering the phone and telling them where they could go if they needed to get into city hospital or needed help getting housing or any of the sort of government services. So she was a very active part of that operation from a pretty early age.
And I think the point you make about how hard that work is is important because it's also very individual, right? This is politics at a very individual level where you know every single voter, and you know what they care about, and you know where they live, and you're turning them out precinct by precinct, block by block. So I think that that's really important to her sense of politics as well.
To this very day, much of Pelosi’s father’s FBI record is blocked out — why? he died 35 years ago! — but still you’ll find details about Pelosi’s brother, Franklin Delano Roosevelt D’Alesandro, and his involvement in the gang rape of an 11-year-old girl and a 13-year-old girl with 14 other men. Interestingly Franklin D’Alesandro was the only one acquitted in an extremely controversial and deeply corrupt trial. (The younger D’Alesandro was later implicated in a multimillion dollar gambling operation in Baltimore and charged with one count of bookmaking.)
D'Alesandro was once a strong contender for Governor of Maryland in 1954, but dropped out after being implicated in receiving undeclared money from Dominic Piracci, a parking garage owner convicted of fraud, conspiracy, and conspiracy to obstruct justice. He was also very close with mob boss James “Jack” Pollack — the political boss who was said to control Baltimore.

How do mobsters make money? Well, really, any way they can. The stock market is a big part of it and so is insider trading which is how the mob parlays information it has obtained into money and power.
That’s who does insider trading — mobsters — and Nancy Pelosi is an insider trader. She even defended the practice, citing the “free market” — presumably the only time she’s ever backed the markets.
(That’s why Congressman Tim Ryan — who worked for a mobster congressman named Jim Traficant — was so brave for standing up to her and why I suspect he will be the surprise upset of election night.)
With Pelosi we got the Italian mob. With McCarthy we stand to get the Bakersfield mob. Both mobs have their ties with the Chinese mob, which, in addition to being the largest mob, is the most tied into the Chinese state. On and on it goes… The takeaway that I’ve come to in recent years is that the line between the mob and the political world is blurry at best.
There’s obviously a political dimension here. The thinking goes that Democrats are harmed electorally if crime becomes the issue of this campaign. (That the hug-a-thug campaigns were pursued by Koch brothers, Jared Kushner, etc is conveniently forgotten.)
Still we might wonder if things are really falling apart. Lee Zeldin was targeted. Karen Bass was targeted. Nancy Pelosi was targeted. We should expect that these attacks will increase, not decrease.
For the Mob the attack is two fold
The de-mobification of our politics is of utmost importance. Indeed I suspect a lot of the crime wave we’ve been experiencing is, in fact, a cover for intelligence operations.
We neglect the ties of American organized crime and Chinese-state sponsored crime. We know that the cartels and the Chinese have quite a close relationship, so much so that there’s even a term for it — Chinaloa.
Read your Wang Huning who is now the fifth most powerful man in China. His 1991 book, America Against America, is a must read and something of a prophecy if you read between the lines. He favors using American organized crime to achieve Chinese ends.
So how much of crime is China messing with us? Trying to destabilize our cities as it brings in drugs to kill those very rednecks who fight our wars and run our industrial base?
Well, crime is rising all over the country, especially in Republican states. We’re going to have to get better about building the kind of counterintelligence and counter mob technology.
The recent uses of genomic genealogy to identify the hundreds of thousands of dead bodies is perhaps one of the best anti-mob operations we have going. My native Massachusetts just identified a woman who had been killed in 1974, purportedly by Whitey Bulger and the Winter Hill gang. "The cause of death was determined at the time to be a blow to the head and is estimated to have occurred several weeks prior," the FBI said. "Her hands were missing, presumably removed by the killer so she could not be identified through fingerprints, and her head was nearly severed from her body." Neither the state labs nor the FBI could identify her but a private sector lab — Othram — did. Technology is our best defense against the lawless. We need more of it — fast!

Our sympathies should go to the very real mentally ill people in our midst — and we should do all we can to make sure that we don’t import anymore. A country which does not police its borders will always be inviting to David DePapes of the world. We have enough nuts in America and we don’t need foreign nuts to do the job that American nuts will do themselves.
How do nuts get weaponized? Could it be that the policy of locking people down made them crazy? (Or is it revealed them to be crazy?) Or is it just a coincidence that that lockdown policy led to the tech companies, many of whom have Chinese cash on their balance sheets, profiting immensely from everyone left to their devices? And what should we think of all of that especially given that Pelosi and her husband owned tech stocks? Might they have had a financial incentive to keep the lockdown going and to force everyone to wear masks wherever the federal government operated?
Paul Pelosi invested heavily in Facebook stock before selling it off during the pandemic. Facebook, with its lax policies around Q Anon, undoubtedly contributed to the radicalization of his assailant. I wonder do the Pelosis now have a legal claim against Facebook?
Of course Paul Pelosi, victim of an assailant, deserves our sympathy. But he and his wife deserves opprobrium for creating the conditions in which this lawlessness can thrive and prosper. Hopefully they’ll realize that not even they are safe from its affects.
Bakersfield's Mob was "The Lords of Bakersfield" and they were a Lavender Mafia. This story continues to play out, but in the 1970s and 1980s the mob consisted of the local newspaper owner, the DA, Department heads and politicians. I have no evidence that McCarthy has ties to the Lords of Bakersfield but it would be hard to advance politically without their support https://www.kget.com/news/crime-watch/lords-of-bakersfield-the-lawsuit-is-the-next-act-in-a-salacious-40-year-old-drama/
