An Invitation: Come Invest With Me, Dear Reader
You know me and what I'm interested in so come invest with me
As you might know by now I have a lot of interests and I’m grateful to you, dear readers.
This Substack is read by all kinds of people — my old high school teachers, billionaires, my parents (sometimes), and a few other people who have met me along the way. Oh and lots of spies. It’s okay. I’m grateful to all my readers. You might have noticed I’m not writing as much and there’s good reason for it.
I’m busy on my day job investing in technology companies and in running Traitwell, the genomics company I formed several years ago.
If that interests you, read on. If not, no worries.
I’ll need about $5M to $10M to build a world class genomics lab either in Northern Virginia or Minnesota-area. Think a U.S.-government friendly 23andMe. That’s where we are going with Traitwell.com. Please feel free to poke around and give me your feedback.
A lab will also be making sure that the food supply — making sure that our food is actually food!
I’ve had a few readers who have joined me in backing various companies, with varying degrees of success. We’ve mostly get it done. Some of my partner and my investments include satellites, genomics, and facial recognition.
I typically do three to five deals a year and I’m very proud of the role I’ve played in strengthening America and her allies in ways known and hidden.
In addition to the genomics deal, I’m working on American drones with allied suppliers. The company is called Censys Tech and unlike other drone makers, none of its parts are Chinese.
Check with your lawyer or accountant if you can legally invest or reach out.
Also a bit of personal news: I’m also planning on moving back to California in 2026. I’ll have more on that at a later date but I increasingly think that my life will mean a lot more to me when I’m closer to family and to the state I lived in for most of my adult life.
While I love Texas I have not really enjoyed these past four years or so living in Northern Virginia.
Some books I’m reading:
*The Kosher Capones: A History of Chicago's Jewish
*Mr Five Per Cent: The many lives of Calouste Gulbenkian, the world's richest man
*Carlos Slim: The Power, Money, and Morality of One of the World's Richest Men
